This is a porcelain cup that is 5x5. This project is glazed white, and the white is really bright since there is porcelain underneath the glaze. There is no foot on it because i forgot to put it in a bag over a weekend so it got a little dry. New skills that I used to make this project would be pulling from the middle and coning, since porcelain is more rubbery than clay. An art element to describe this would be value, as porcelain project are hard to make and I don't make very many of

This is an extra credit project i made that is 2x4. This project is a cylinder and also (like the last two) doesn't have a foot on it. When i put it into my locker, a lot of my friends had their lockers stacked with projects so i let them store their projects in mine, therefore i lost track of my cylinder. But i found it! New skills i used to make this project would be coning, i have learned how useful coning is and started to use it a lot more as i seemed to get rid of a lot of air bubbles and make my project a lot more centered. Art elements i can use to define this project would be simplicity, this project really doesn't have that much to it. It is a cylinder, not to tall but not to short, it's a simp

This is a cylinder made out of porcelain that is going to be my choice project. It is 4x3.5. This project is glazed yellow and doesn't have a foot on the bottom as i didn't suspect porcelain to dry so fast, and the next day it was to dry to foot. Some skill i used to make this cylinder would be pulling from the middle and coning. When one is making a porcelain project, it is harder to center, so coning helps to make it centered. Pulling from the middle also helps to make this project taller, as pulling from the bottom can make the bottom skinnier than the top or middle. An art element to describe this project would be color, as it is very bright and looks b

This is my hand wheel that is 3x6. It flares out a little at the lip giving this project the shape of a pitcher, and then a handle attached to it. This project is glazed yellow, and happens to not have a foot on it as the bottom was to thin to foot. New skills that i used to make this project would be Handle making and flaring as i would not be able to make this hand wheel project a pitcher without giving it a handle and flaring out on piece of the lip. An art element to describe this project would be simplicity, as it it just a simple pitcher,

This is my two piece project that is 5x6. It is a bowl that has a cylinder on the bottom, like a platform. It has a splatter pattern on it mostly consisting of green and blue colors. The majority of splatter is on the inside of the bowl. I used slipping to make this two piece project as the two pieces would not have come together if I did not slip it. This project is glazed with bright colors, expressing a bright mood.

This is my lidded project that is 3.5x4.5. It is glazed light blue, dark blue, and clear. It is a vase with a lid on it and the lid has a hole in the bottom. I used flaring to make this project, as the lid would not fit if I didn't flare our the top. This project has splatter all over it, splitting the vase into many seperate pieces. This project expresses a crazy mood as the glaze all over this project is crazy.

This is a wheel altered bowl that is 2.5x3. It is glazed shadow green and clear, with dark green being on the inside and outside half. I used altering to make this bowl, as the shape of the brim would not be the way it is by not using this skill. Without using altering this would just be a regular bowl.

This is my set of three. The bowl is 2x2 and is glazed orange, the plate is 0.5x4 and is glazed dark blue, and the tall cylinder is 3.5x4.5 and is glazed orange, blue, and dark blue. This set of three is different than the others one might see because the last edition to it is a combination of the glazes like orange, dark blue, and a symbol drawn in the center. All if these projects are split into two/three pieces as they all have two/three different types if glazes on them. The new skill I used to make these projects was pushing down and pushing in, which allowed me to even out the sides of these projects.

This is my choice project that is 3x3 inches. It is in the form of a cylinder that slightly fares its way out from the bottom. The colors this is glazed are green and white. I used pulling from the center to make this project, instead of pulling from the bottom. This project has a fade affect from the green as it transitions to the white, but only on the inside. Since this is glazed two colors, my project seems to split itself into two pieces.

This wheel plate is 6x2 inches. It is a circular plate that has a sun design in the center of it. It is glazed clear and red. I used a new skill if pullingl down and pushing out a long flat base. I have bright color coming out of the center, this draws attention towards the center of my plate. For some this plate may bring a feeling of happiness or joy because of the design in the center, it is a sun.
